Used in conjunction with Avaya IP telephones, Aruba says that its Remote Access Points
allow SMEs to extend communication and messaging capabilities to remote workers
simply and securely, without the cost and complexity of VPN or router-based
solutions.
The Aruba solutions have been tested for
compatibility with Avaya Communication Manager 4.0 and 3.1.2 IP telephony
software; Avaya Modular Messaging 3.1 for IP-based voice and fax messaging;
Avaya Distributed Office 1.1.0 for branch office communications; Avaya 1600,
4600 and 9600 Series IP Telephones; and Avaya 3631, 3641 and 3645 Wireless IP
Telephones.
Arubas networks integrate adaptive WLANs,
identity-based security, and application continuity services into a cohesive,
high-performance system. The result is remote access solutions for
teleworkers, and voice solutions that blend Wi-Fi and cellular networks,
provide unprecedented mobility for users while ensuring that security is always
enforced.
Used in conjunction with Avaya intelligent communications systems and software, an Aruba solution will now provide follow-me connectivity for voice, data, and video applications regardless of where the user roams or works.
