How are our email circulations built?
The success of RBI Email Newsletters is simply due to offering advertisers what they want: highly targeted, cost-effective propositions. The circulation for each email newsletter is built once the content and the audience profiles have been clearly defined. Once they have been agreed, email addresses are acquired via number of different initiatives, such as:
- Integrating our own extensive internal email database
- Online registrations via RBI’s numerous websites
- Viral marketing (reader-get-reader promotions)
- List purchases
- Competitions and prize draws
- Events
The circulation profile for each email newsletter is audited internally every six months – these are known as Publishers’ Statements. Much like a circulation audit for a print publication, this procedure is undertaken to assure our advertisers of the profile and quality of the circulation we email to.
